The % of growth is not important, the important thing is to be consistent with the number.<\/li>\n<li>Values: have fun, learn a lot, do practices and more practices.<\/li>\n<li>Method: learn about trading basis, focus on a set of companies, learn about the market environment, learn about new trading indicators.<\/li>\n<li>Obstacles: Time.<\/li>\n<li>Measures:\n<ul>\n<li>Finish the year with at least a 6% growth of the 1000$.<\/li>\n<li>Read at least 3 trading books.<\/li>\n<li>Read quarterly reports of at least 12 companies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Death line = December 2019<\/p>\n<h1>The results?<\/h1>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/joapen.com\/blog\/2019\/12\/06\/trading-learning-year-2\/\">Here<\/a> I have documented the results of this initiative.<\/p>\n<p>The summary of the measures:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>I finish with a 40% growth versus the reference of 6%, so now I have 1400$.<\/li>\n<li>I read only 2 finance books: <a href=\"http:\/\/joapen.com\/blog\/2019\/11\/07\/systematic-trading-by-robert-carver\/\">Systematic Trading<\/a>, and <a href=\"http:\/\/joapen.com\/blog\/2019\/10\/23\/un-paseo-por-wall-street\/\">A random walk down WallStreet<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>I only read 3 quarterly reports.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>After trading with crypto-currencies and obtaining some learns I have created a Robinhood account, which I want to use to continue learning but on a different environment.
