    “Bar raiser” is a process and an actor into that process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    A bar raiser<\/strong> is trained to objectively assess whether interviewees match Amazon\u2019s principles. This person attends interviews and coach other people hiring people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The process<\/strong> has these basic steps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    2. Resume review<\/li>
    3. Phone screen<\/li>
    4. Inhouse interview<\/li>
    5. Written feedback<\/li>
    6. Debrief hiring meeting<\/li>

      This process is in continuous improvement and it’s well known and used by many Amazonians.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      I have not found a formal definition of the process in Amazon site, but this is a summary of steps, concepts and visual support about the basis of this process for product development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
