{"id":452,"date":"2012-03-16T22:45:19","date_gmt":"2012-03-16T22:45:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/joapen.com\/blog\/?p=452"},"modified":"2012-03-20T22:49:46","modified_gmt":"2012-03-20T22:49:46","slug":"account-reconciliation-process","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joapen.com\/blog\/2012\/03\/16\/account-reconciliation-process\/","title":{"rendered":"Account reconciliation Process"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This is something we have been working on during last 2 months with a good degree of knowledge for us.<\/p>\n<p>First step was to define groups of requirements we cover with the existing tool and the desired requirements.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Data integration (from SAP, from different sources of information, integrity of new data, )<\/li>\n<li>Configuration &amp; Support processes<\/li>\n<li>Reconciliation process (reconcilers, reviewers, management of group of LEs, groups of accounts)<\/li>\n<li>Security processes &amp; Activities (personalized assignment, per accounts and per LEs)<\/li>\n<li>Reporting (Reports generation, personalized ad-hoc, standard, analytical reports, dashboards)<\/li>\n<li>SaaS, In-house implementation and Outsourced<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>So many things to review and to learn about this SOX compliance Process.<\/p>\n<p>Later on we review 4 solutions of the market that finally were reduced to the 2 best in class. As our customer said to us: they are head hunters and we are their triumphs.<\/p>\n<p>Now reviewing for each solution:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The pricing models.<\/li>\n<li>Discovering the activities proposed for each implementation project and its price.<\/li>\n<li>Service support levels<\/li>\n<li>Availability and redundancy provided,<\/li>\n<li>Studying the investment required in first 2 years<\/li>\n<li>Understanding the TCO.<\/li>\n<li>and more&#8230;.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This is something we have been working on during last 2 months with a good degree of knowledge for us.
