needs<\/li>\n<li>Deep insight into what they need and expect from the solution\/product<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Activities<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Engage with stakeholders<\/li>\n<li>Use innovative methods to collect information<\/li>\n<li>Understand the problem\/need<\/li>\n<li>Record observation to answer what, how, and why<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Guidelines to follow:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Adopt appropriate method to gather relevant information<\/li>\n<li>Engage stakeholders positively<\/li>\n<li>Experience the problem to understand the impact<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h1>Define<\/h1>\n<p>Objective:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To create a well-defined and meaningful problem statement to focus on<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Activities<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Information analysis<\/li>\n<li>Collaborating observations that help define the core problem<\/li>\n<li>Provide clarity and scope to the problem<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Guidelines to follow:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Focus on the positive aspects of the customers\u2019 needs<\/li>\n<li>Eliminate negative aspects identified in their needs<\/li>\n<li>Identify connectivity between problems by identifying similar context<\/li>\n<li>Break down the problems into sub-problems<\/li>\n<li>Define each problem to create meaningful problem statement<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h1>Ideate<\/h1>\n<p>Objective:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To generate and define multiple ideas<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Activities:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Collect as many ideas as possible<\/li>\n<li>Think, think, think\u2026<\/li>\n<li>Brainstorming<\/li>\n<li>Use tools like charting, mind maps, boards<\/li>\n<li>Gather all solutions suggested by the team of thinkers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Guidelines to follow:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Don\u2019t get into details, feasibility, and viability during this phase<\/li>\n<li>Don\u2019t evaluate ideas<\/li>\n<li>Focus on generating ideas<\/li>\n<li>Always create visualization of ideas<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h1>Prototype<\/h1>\n<p>Objective:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To testify an idea\n<ul>\n<li>Verifies whether an implemented solution is successful<\/li>\n<li>Identify further problems with the implemented idea to refine<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Gathering feedback from the users about their experiences with the product<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Activities:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Identify the type of prototype needed to illustrate the ideas<\/li>\n<li>Capture all the key aspects of the idea and solution with the prototypes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Guidelines to follow:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Don\u2019t spend too much time on the prototype always build prototypes with the intended users in mind<\/li>\n<li>Checking feasibility and collecting feedback is the primary objective of prototypes.<\/li>\n<li>Don\u2019t focus on internal problems<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Types of prototypes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Basic prototype model: provide limited tested features, it\u2019s inexpensive, may not be useful for some cases, you will get limited feedback.<\/li>\n<li>Operational prototype model: operates like finished products, they are expensive, users can visualize how they will operate, you will get deep feedback.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h1>Test<\/h1>\n<p>Objective:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Return to your users and test the prototype for obtaining feedback<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Activities:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Engage with stakeholders<\/li>\n<li>Understand if the needs are covered<\/li>\n<li>Collect as much feedback as possible<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Guidelines to follow:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Focus on assertive and defined feedback<\/li>\n<li>structure the test activities with the user stories.<\/li>\n<li>explain what was implemented and not implemented in the prototype (set expectations)<\/li>\n<li>Don\u2019t focus on
