{"id":5893,"date":"2021-10-04T12:30:00","date_gmt":"2021-10-04T10:30:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joapen.com\/blog\/?p=5893"},"modified":"2021-12-31T15:11:39","modified_gmt":"2021-12-31T14:11:39","slug":"year-4-q4-more-books","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joapen.com\/blog\/2021\/10\/04\/year-4-q4-more-books\/","title":{"rendered":"Year 4, Q4 more books"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>During&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/joapen.com\/blog\/2021\/07\/03\/year-4-q3-books\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Q3<\/a>&nbsp;I have focused on the writing a couple of books:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>One notebook about Wardley maps.<\/li><li>One book about all happened with Ariel during these 23 months.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>They are in progress and I want to finish them<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The plan<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>So the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/joapen.com\/blog\/2010\/08\/24\/behind-the-cloud\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">V2MOM<\/a>&nbsp;for this quarter will be:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Vision<\/strong>: Complete, review and publish the books before the end of 2021.<\/li><li><strong>Values<\/strong>: have fun, do it with enough quality.<\/li><li><strong>Method<\/strong>: Complete the Wardley Maps notebook and complete the revision process and the edition of both books.<\/li><li><strong>Obstacles<\/strong>:<ul><li>Time.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong>Measures<\/strong>:<ul><li>Both books completed.<\/li><li>Read about Cynefin framework<span style=\"font-size: inherit;\">.<\/span><\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Death line = 31\/December\/2021<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The results (January 2022)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>El primero de los libros: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.es\/dp\/B09KN2M1FP\/ref=cm_sw_r_tw_dp_0MHDKCAK6N3CKARZG3Z0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><span style=\"font-size: inherit;\">C<\/span>uaderno de trabajo para dibujar estrategias<\/a>.<\/li><li>The book was published and had a great feedback, so I am working on the English version of the book. This version is taking more time than expected and will be published in Q1 2022. So this milestone was not completed.<\/li><li>I completed an old book that I started writing in 2011. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.es\/Alrededor-una-Receta-Historias-familiares\/dp\/B09LGY937N\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Alrededor de una receta<\/a>. This is a personal book with all the recipes my mother use to cook. I have published in Amazon so I could sent to family members far away of Seville. I edited copies with a local company and I have given as present this year. It was really welcome.<\/li><li>I have read Cynefin book partially.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This is out of the plan, but I&#8217;m investing some time in Kaggle courses. I completed &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.kaggle.com\/learn\/intermediate-machine-learning\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Intermediate Machine Learning<\/a>&#8221; and I have been creating a new LSTM model that is the seed of the work I want to work during Q1 2022.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>During&nbsp;Q3&nbsp;I have focused on the writing a couple of books: One notebook about Wardley maps.
