Here:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"555\" src=\"http:\/\/joapen.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/image-17-1024x555.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-6952\" srcset=\"https:\/\/joapen.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/image-17-1024x555.png 1024w, https:\/\/joapen.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/image-17-300x162.png 300w, https:\/\/joapen.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/image-17-768x416.png 768w, https:\/\/joapen.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/image-17.png 1202w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The AWS Europe (Spain) Region has three Availability Zones located in: Villanueva de G\u00e1llego, El Burgo de Ebro, and the Plhus logistics platform in Huesca, where your applications are reliably distributed\u00a0cloud.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"702\" height=\"767\" src=\"http:\/\/joapen.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/image-18.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-6953\" srcset=\"https:\/\/joapen.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/image-18.png 702w, https:\/\/joapen.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/image-18-275x300.png 275w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 702px) 100vw, 702px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What does it mean in terms of electric consumption?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The new data region has an installed\u00a0electric\u00a0capacity of <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">80 MW<\/span><\/strong>, and will become the first consumer of\u00a0electricity\u00a0of Aragon, ahead of the Opel factory in Zaragoza.\u00a0Red El\u00e9ctrica\u00a0has had to reinforce its 220 and 400 kV high-voltage network to ensure power and redundant connection at each of the three locations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We must highlight the importance of\u00a0sustainability\u00a0in the development that AWS is carrying out in Spain, where it has announced 16\u00a0renovable\u00a0generation projects in operation and development:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Andalusia: three\u00a0photovoltaic\u00a0plants with a combined capacity of 343.7 MW<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Aragon: one\u00a0solar\u00a0plant and three\u00a0Eolic\u00a0parks, with a total capacity of 184.56 MW<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Extremadura: three\u00a0solar\u00a0plants with 567 MW<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Castilla \u2013 La Mancha: four solar plants with 332 MW<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Castilla y Le\u00f3n: a solar plant with 28.6 MW<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Madrid: a solar plant with a capacity of 74 MW<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>What makes it one of the main renewable operators in Spain.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This week Amazon announced the new &#8220;data region&#8221;\u00a0Amazon Web Services (AWS)\u00a0is now opened.
