SAP Landscape Transformation

As usual, it’s better an image than thousand words.

This is how SAP LT should be deployed in an organization.

1. You deploy the software in Solution Manager, the sender and the receiver SAP environments.
2. The configuration of SAP LT is done in SolMan. The decision tree is a set of documents you configure with steps for defining the transactions that will be enable from the sender to receiver.
3. The preparation of the decision tree, should be done with the QA environment. Refresh it from production before, so you will have the most similar environment.
4. Once the decision tree is ready (minimum tests should be 2 cycles), you can define the production systems as sender / receiver.
