Quantum journey sessions

This February 2026 Simon Wardley organized one of his journey sessions, this time around Quantum.

I participated on it and this time I decided not to be a “mapper” for a subgroup. I decided to join the “risk” subgroup and learn from the experts.

I have enjoyed the conversation learning from people working in the field.

I’m happy the next topic Simon is organizing is about “the supply chain of quantum hardware”, I like value chains and understand the concrete components of this new field help me to be more knowledgeable of the basis.

I have been some months reading about quantum and mainly from public companies in the field. I use formal documents of the SEC, they contain some binding data the companies are in some way accountable. There are many other sources of data, but they are “marketing” or very deep research documents I do not understand. I understand more the business language.

Do you want to invest in Quantum Companies?

Do it only if you have conviction, remember that many of these companies are in their genesis; they have a high probability of disappear. If you have enough conviction on the sector, you better invest in a ETF linked to quantum from your favourite ETF provider.
