Google announced an advance in their Quantum computing processors.
Despite they clearly indicated that is just the second milestone of six steps they have in their roadmap, the general reaction was: Quantum computing is already here.
I have tried to draw the gap between what they communicated and the perception. Information is asymmetric, but this time it’s fun (I guess people in general just read the headers of the news).

The window of real advance in Quantum Computing is supposed to happen between 3 and 5 years from now.
This means that this will happen because many people are today starting to build capabilities and try to solve Quantum challenges.
