Business Requirements Vs Final Solution

Working in a requirements definition process and the negotiation, mainly, of the tripe constraint, we are focusing the definition of the requirements as processes in order to identify properly the processes and their needs.

One of the parts of our discussions is the posterior approach of this processes in the design and development phases and how we are going to ensure the execution of the application is going to reflect what was requested in the business process analysis.

With it, for this early phase we are trying to:
  1. Link the design patterns to be used during design and development directly to the requirements definition.
  2. Packaging the functionalities and relation them with each business process.

We are having some problems with these actions because of the interaction of these packages but I hope that with these actions we will be able to ensure a tighter alignment between the “final solution” and the business needs.

Let’s see if it works!
